Quick answer: you are on the website of Monarch Claims Consultants, a public adjusting firm in Miami. We are not Monarch National Insurance Company, and we have no connection to them. If you were trying to reach Monarch National, their number is 1-800-293-2532 and their claims page is monarchnational.com/claims. If you ended up here because a claim of yours was denied, was paid less than the repairs cost, or simply left you with questions, keep reading. That part is what we do.
Written by Edgar Velazquez, Florida licensed public adjuster (#P140117) and founder of Monarch Claims Consultants in Miami.
Two Florida companies have the word Monarch in the name, and both come up when property damage is involved. So people reach the wrong one all the time. We get the phone calls. We get the emails. Some weeks we get a whole claim file that was meant for somebody else. We built this page to point you to the right company as fast as possible.
HOW TO REACH MONARCH NATIONAL INSURANCE COMPANY
Monarch National Insurance Company is a Florida property insurance company. It is a separate business from ours. Here is their published contact information, taken from their own website on August 1, 2026:
- Phone: 1-800-293-2532
- Claims: monarchnational.com/claims
- General contact: monarchnational.com/contact
- Mailing address: PO Box 13239, Tallahassee, FL 32317-3239
One more thing that confuses people. Their policies are serviced under the name HP Managing. If your paperwork or your payment portal says HP Managing, that is still them, and it is still not us.
Phone numbers and web pages change over time. If anything above does not work, go to monarchnational.com and use their own menu.
WHO MONARCH CLAIMS CONSULTANTS IS
Monarch Claims Consultants is a licensed public adjusting firm. We do not sell insurance. We do not issue policies, take premiums, or decide claims. Under section 626.854 of Florida law, a public adjuster is licensed by the state to prepare, file, and negotiate an insurance claim on behalf of the policyholder.
The short version of the difference: the adjuster your insurance company sends out works for the insurance company. A public adjuster is the one licensed to work for you. Both are real jobs and both are legal. They simply answer to different people.
IF YOUR CLAIM WAS DENIED OR PAID SHORT
A fair number of people reach this page by accident and then stay, because the reason they were searching at all is that something went wrong with a claim.
If that is you, here is the plain version. A denial letter states a reason. Reasons can be checked. The same is true when a payment comes in under what the repairs actually cost, because that number came from an estimate, and estimates can miss things.
Here is what a public adjuster does about it. We read the policy. We inspect the property. We write our own estimate in the same professional software the insurance industry uses, so the numbers can be compared line by line. Then we present your side of the claim to your insurance company in the format it has to respond to.
What that costs is set by law, not by us. Florida caps a public adjuster fee at 20 percent of what the claim pays. The cap is lower after a disaster. When the Governor declares a state of emergency, the cap drops to 10 percent. That lower cap covers claims made during the first year after the declaration. After that year, the 20 percent cap applies again. The fee cannot be charged on your deductible, and if the claim recovers nothing, there is no fee. Those limits are in section 626.854 of Florida law, and they apply to every licensed public adjuster in the state, including us.

A NOTE FOR ROOFERS, CONTRACTORS, AND RESTORATION COMPANIES
We regularly receive invoices, photo reports, moisture readings, and repair estimates that were meant for Monarch National Insurance Company. If you sent documents to us and you were expecting an insurance company to act on them, they did not land where you thought.
Send them to Monarch National using the claims contact above, and check the company name printed on the loss notice before the next batch goes out.
We do not forward misdirected claim documents. They almost always contain a property owner private information, and we are not a party to that claim. Please do not assume a resend will find its way over.
WHY THE TWO NAMES GET CONFUSED
Monarch is a popular brand name and both companies operate in Florida property insurance. Search engines put similar names side by side, phone directories do the same, and somebody in the middle of a claim is usually not reading closely. That is the whole explanation. There is no shared ownership, no partnership, and no business relationship between the two companies.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Is Monarch Claims Consultants the same as Monarch National Insurance?
No. Monarch Claims Consultants is a licensed public adjusting firm in Miami that represents policyholders. Monarch National Insurance Company is a separate Florida property insurance company. The two are not affiliated and share no ownership.
What does a public adjuster actually do?
A public adjuster is licensed by the State of Florida to prepare, file, and negotiate an insurance claim for the policyholder. That includes reading the policy, inspecting the damage, writing an independent repair estimate, and handling the back and forth with the insurance company on the property owner behalf.
What does a public adjuster charge in Florida?
Florida law caps the fee at 20 percent of what the claim pays. For claims based on events covered by a state of emergency declared by the Governor, the cap is 10 percent for claims made during the year after that declaration, then 20 percent applies again. The fee cannot be charged on your deductible, and if the claim recovers nothing there is no fee.
I sent claim documents to the wrong Monarch. Can you forward them?
No. Misdirected claim documents usually contain a property owner private information and we are not a party to that claim. Please send them directly to Monarch National Insurance Company.
WE PUT THEIR NUMBER AT THE TOP ON PURPOSE
We could have put that phone number at the very bottom of the page so you had to read about us first. We put it in the first paragraph instead. The fastest way to help someone who is not our client is to send them where they were trying to go.
And if it turns out you do have a claim that went wrong, you now know where to find the other Monarch.
DID SOMETHING GO WRONG WITH YOUR CLAIM?
If your claim was denied, paid short, or just left you with questions, a licensed adjuster will read your message personally.
